The Experiment That
Started It All.

In 2008, I lost over one million dollars to Wall Street fraud. Not through recklessness — through trust. I had believed the system was designed to work for me. I was wrong.

That loss didn't break me. It clarified me. I spent the next decade asking a single question: What would it look like to build an investment system designed from the ground up for ordinary people?

In 2024, I ran what I called the Leap Year Portfolio — 366 consecutive days of deliberate, disciplined investing. No algorithms. No institutional capital. No minimum balance that locked people out. I documented everything in public. I held over 500 positions. I generated 29% annualized cash flow. You could have started with $10.

This wasn't a performance. It was proof of concept. Proof that the framework I had been engineering — what I now call Regenerative Economic Infrastructure — actually works. Proof that the future of investing is accessible, transparent, and built on mission.

Stakeholder Enterprise exists to share that framework with you. Whether you're a first-time investor or a portfolio manager ready to think differently, what you'll find here is a methodology for funding the future of humanity — starting exactly where you are.

About Paul

I'm Not a Traditional
Wealth Manager.

I was raised vegetarian by a mother who marched with MLK. I know what it means to stand up for your values, even when it costs you.

In 2008, it cost me everything. I lost over $1 million through fraud and system failure. The shame nearly destroyed me. The anxiety. The grief. That vicious cycle of denial and despair where you can't move forward but you can't accept what happened either.

It forced me to question everything I'd been taught about investing. Those questions led me to a realization.

I was scrolling social media in 2016 and saw a Mr. Robot meme. The characters on the show call E Corp "Evil Corp" like it's some comic book villain. I laughed. Then something clicked. Corporations aren't evil. They're doing exactly what they were designed to do. Maximize profits for shareholders.

Every quarterly report, every cost-cutting measure, every heartless decision. Just programming. The problem wasn't morality. It was design. And my entire retirement account was running on that programming.

That same year the SEC quietly changed the rules. Regular people could now invest directly in community companies through Regulation Crowdfunding — the first public market for productive investing in 90 years.

Suddenly I could fund solar installations, worker cooperatives, regenerative farms, affordable housing. Not Evil Corp. Different design entirely.

So I ran a 366-day public experiment to show it works. It did. The industry even gave me an award.

I lost everything once.
I understand the fear of making the wrong decision.
What I found on the other side of that fear was a system designed differently. I want the same for you.
